WAIVER OF LIABILITY

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK

I understand that participation in TradeWorx Academy’s hands-on home improvement workshops involves the use of tools, materials, and equipment that may include, but are not limited to:
 

• Hand tools and power tools

• Cutting tools, blades, and sharp materials

• Electrical components

• Construction materials such as tile, drywall, fasteners, adhesives, sealants, and related products

I acknowledge that these activities may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to cuts, bruises, burns, eye injuries, strains, falls, electric shock, property damage, or other personal injury.

I agree to follow all safety instructions, demonstrations, verbal directions, and written guidelines provided by instructors and staff, to use tools responsibly, and to wear any required or recommended safety equipment.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks, both known and unknown, associated with participation in the workshop, including risks arising from my own actions, the actions of other participants, or the use of tools, materials, or equipment provided.

 

I understand that TradeWorx Academy provides educational instruction only and does not supervise or control how participants apply techniques outside of the workshop environment.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, and discharge TradeWorx Academy LLC, its owners, officers, instructors, employees, contractors, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation, including but not limited to:
 

• Personal injury or illness

• Property damage or loss

• Injury resulting from the use or misuse of tools or materials

• Injury occurring during or after the workshop

 

NO PROFESSIONAL OR CONTRACTOR RELATIONSHIP

I understand that participation in a TradeWorx Academy workshop does not create a contractor-client relationship. Instruction provided is for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for licensed professional services, site-specific evaluations, or code-compliant installation on my own property.

 

POST-WORKSHOP APPLICATION DISCLAIMER

I acknowledge that applying techniques learned during the workshop in my own home or elsewhere is done entirely at my own risk. TradeWorx Academy is not responsible for injuries, property damage, code violations, or project failures resulting from post-workshop application.

 

HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT & INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT

I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TradeWorx Academy LLC and its representatives from any claims, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from my participation or from my use of knowledge, tools, or techniques learned during the workshop.

 

MEDICAL AND PHYSICAL FITNESS ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

I certify that I am physically and medically capable of participating in a hands-on workshop environment. I acknowledge responsibility for any medical conditions, physical limitations, or health concerns that may affect my participation.
