Workshop Description
Start Time: 10:00 AM (See late arrival policy) Duration: 3 hours Age Requirement: Must be 18+ Dress Code: Closed-toe shoes required. Comfortable, well-fitted clothing that you won't mind getting dirty. No loose jewelry. Longer hair should be pulled back in a ponytail or ball cap. Whether you’ve never touched a tool or simply just want to get more experience and hand skills, we’re confident you’ll leave feeling more prepared for the next step in your power tool journey. In this highly informational workshop, you’ll get introduced to several of the essential power tools used in the majority of home projects. What's Covered: ● Hands-on training, not just theory. You'll actually handle and practice with tools under the guidance of a pro, so you're not just watching—you’re doing. ● Beginner-friendly, no intimidation zone. We know what it's like to feel unsure or overwhelmed, and we’ve created a supportive, encouraging space where questions are welcomed. ● Real answers from real tradespeople. Wondering what tool to invest in? Whether to rent or buy? We’ll walk you through what to look for and what’s worth your money. ● Designed for homeowners and DIYers, it’s for people who want to build confidence for projects around the house or just understand how to use tools safely and correctly. Power Tools You'll Work With: ● Drill/Driver ● Mitre Saw ● Circular Saw ● Jigsaw ● Reciprocating Saw ● Multi-Tool ● Nail Gun ● Sander Age Restrictions: Due to the tools, materials, and environment of our workshops, participants must be 18 years or older. Children under 18 are not permitted during standard workshops.
Cancellation Policy
For a more personalized experience, TradeWorx Academy maintains small workshop sizes. Due to a limited number of seats available, registration fees are non-refundable. Registration cancellations for our homeowner level workshops made at least 72 hours in advance of a workshop will be granted a credit for a future workshop. The credit is valid for up to one year from original scheduled workshop. Cancellation requests made less than 72 hours of an workshop/event will not be honored. Guests who show up more than 10 minutes late for a workshop may be asked to leave and receive a credit towards another workshop in the future. Credit must be used within one year of the originally scheduled workshop. Out of respect for the instructor, rest of the participants and so you don't miss out on any critical information we encourage you to be on time. Due to staffing, we reserve the right to cancel workshops if attendance is below 4 attendees. Policy changes can be made without notice.
