Workshop Description

New to DIY or feeling unsure around power tools? This workshop is the perfect starting point! Whether you’ve never touched a tool or simply just want to get more experience and hand skills, we’re confident you’ll leave feeling more prepared for the next step in your power tool journey.

In this highly informational workshop, you’ll get introduced to several of the essential power tools used in the majority of home projects.

Late Arrival & No-Show Policy

Because we prepare customized materials for each attendee, registration fees are non-refundable. However, if you notify us at least 72 hours prior to the workshop, we will issue a credit toward a future workshop, valid for up to one year. To ensure the best experience for all participants, we have the following policies regarding late arrivals and no-shows:

Late Arrivals

Students arriving more than 10 minutes after the scheduled start time may not be allowed to join the workshop.
Many classes begin with essential safety instructions and foundational demonstrations that cannot be repeated without disrupting the session.
If you arrive late and are not admitted, your registration fee will be forfeited.
We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early for check-in and setup.

No-Shows

A no-show is defined as any student who does not attend their scheduled class without prior notice.
No-shows are not eligible for a refund, credit, or rescheduling.
This policy ensures that spots are available for students who are ready to participate.

Rescheduling & Emergencies

If you cannot attend, please notify us at least 48 hours before the workshop to discuss possible rescheduling options (subject to availability).
In the case of a true emergency, please contact us as soon as possible. While rescheduling is not guaranteed, we will review situations on a case-by-case basis.

By registering for a workshop, you agree to these policies.

TradeWorx Academy reserves the right to cancel a workshop if registration falls below the minimum of four participants. In such cases, you will receive a full credit or be offered the option to transfer to another workshop.

Age Restrictions

Due to the tools, materials, and environment of our workshops, participants must be 18 years or older. Children under 18 are not permitted during standard workshops.

Safety Waiver & Photo Consent

By registering for a TradeWorx Academy workshop, I understand that I will be using power tools and working with construction type materials. I agree to take full responsibility for my safety, personal belongings.

I acknowledge that participating in hands-on workshops carries certain inherent risks. I agree to follow all safety instructions and policies provided by TradeWorx Academy, both written and verbal. I accept full responsibility for any injury, illness, or property loss incurred during or after participation.

I agree to release and hold harmless TradeWorx Academy LLC, its owners, staff, instructors, and affiliates from any liability related to participation in workshops or presence in the studio.

We may take photos or videos of participants and projects to use for promotional purposes on our website, social media, or other marketing materials. If you prefer not to appear in photos or videos, please let us know at the start of the workshop. By tagging us or using our workshop hashtag, you consent to the use of those images by TradeWorx Academy.

A signed waiver will be required prior to participation in any workshop.
