DO-IT-YOURSELF
AND SAVE!
Molding installation is often priced by the linear foot, and even modest rooms can add up quickly. Learning to install molding yourself can save hundreds to thousands of dollars on a single project, while giving you the confidence to handle future upgrades without added labor costs.
Beyond the financial savings, you’ll gain a repeatable skill you can apply room after room, project after project, with results you’ll actually be proud of.
Workshop Description
Clean, well-installed molding instantly elevates a space—but getting crisp corners and seamless joints can feel overwhelming without the right approach. This hands-on workshop breaks crown, base, and shoe molding into a clear, repeatable process so you can tackle trim projects with confidence and precision.
Participants will learn how to properly measure, cut, and install molding using a compound miter saw and brad nailer, with an emphasis on accuracy, safety, and clean results. The workshop also covers the finishing steps that separate “good enough” from professional-looking work, including caulking techniques for smooth transitions and a polished appearance.
A guided discussion on sanding, prep, and painting will round out the class so your finished trim blends beautifully with the space and holds up over time.
Please note that Intro To Power Tools is a require prerequisite in order to attend this workshop.
