MOLDING
INSTALLATION
TRIM IS ONE OF THE FINISHING DETAILS THAT CAN DRAMATICALLY IMPROVE THE APPEARANCE OF A ROOM, BUT ONLY WHEN IT'S INSTALLED CORRECTLY.
Trim molding is one of the finishing details that can dramatically improve the appearance of a room, but only when it's installed correctly. This hands-on workshop teaches homeowners the essential techniques for measuring, cutting, and installing base and shoe molding with clean, professional-looking results. Working with real materials and professional-grade tools, you'll learn how to accurately measure molding runs, cut inside and outside corners using a compound miter saw, install trim with a brad nailer, and apply the finishing techniques that create seamless joints and crisp lines.
Through instructor-led demonstrations and supervised hands-on practice, you'll build the confidence to complete common trim projects with greater precision while learning the proper techniques for caulking, filling, sanding, and preparing trim for paint. By the end of the workshop, you'll have the knowledge and practical experience to achieve a polished, professional finish throughout your home.
Completion of Intro to Power Tools is highly recommend prior to taking this workshop.
