INSTALLATION
Installing a tile floor requires more than simply setting tile. Proper planning, surface preparation, materials, and installation techniques determine how well the finished floor performs and lasts.

In this immersive, hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to install a porcelain tile floor over a residential wood subfloor using professional methods. Working with real materials and professional-grade tools, you'll prepare the subfloor, apply primer, install an uncoupling membrane, mix and apply thinset, set 12" × 12" porcelain tile with leveling clips, make a toilet flange cutout, and grout the finished floor.

Throughout the workshop, licensed contractors will explain the purpose behind each step so you understand both how the process works and why proper technique matters.

Recommended Prerequisite: We HIGHLY recommend completing Tile & Grout Basics before attending, as foundational concepts are not reviewed during this course.
