While technical expertise is essential, great instructors also bring patience, clarity, and the ability to inspire learners of all levels.

We’re looking for skilled tradespeople who want to share their knowledge and help shape the future of our workshops. Whether you specialize in tile, drywall, flooring, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or another trade, your expertise can make a lasting impact in our community.

 

Shaping the Learning Experience

​At TradeWorx Academy, instructors aren’t just teaching from a pre-written script — they’re helping build it. You’ll collaborate with our team to:

  • Create or adapt lesson plans that showcase your expertise

  • Recommend tools, materials, and techniques that reflect industry best practices

  • Suggest new workshop topics based on community needs and emerging trends

 

Your insights and experience help keep our programs relevant, practical, and engaging for every student who walks through our doors.

Instructor Onboarding & Support

While we don’t require formal teaching credentials, we provide guidance and resources to help our instructors succeed, including:

​

  • Orientation to TradeWorx Academy’s workshop structure and pacing

  • Safety protocols and classroom management tips

  • Support for delivering hands-on instruction that works for all learning styles

 

We’ll work with you to adapt your skills into effective, easy-to-follow lessons that align with our mission of empowering learners.
