What to Bring: The multimeter from Electrical Basics. Dress Code: Closed toe shoes. Comfortable clothing you do not mind getting dirty. No metal jewelry. Longer hair pulled back. Please Note: Electrical Basics is a required prerequisite. The foundational content (electrical theory, code basics, device identification, and beginner wiring) is not re-covered here. What this workshop covers: How electricians think, test, and troubleshoot real electrical systems. Topics include: Wiring and testing three-way lighting circuits. Installing recessed lighting fixtures. Wiring GFCIs with downstream protection. Diagnosing wiring mistakes with a multimeter. How breakers and GFCIs respond to faults. Code essentials: grounding, box fill, conductor sizing, and breaker selection. Hands on practice: At your own station, you will pull cable, terminate switches and outlets, identify traveler wires, test before energizing, and troubleshoot. All practice happens on de-energized circuits with professional lockout and tagout procedures. Live demos are conducted by the instructor. Reserve your spot today. ‼️ Breaks & Meals: Participants are welcome to take breaks as needed; however, workshop instruction will continue during unscheduled breaks. Full-day workshops include a 30-minute meal break. Complimentary beverages and individually packaged snacks are provided. Participants may bring a lunch, use the on-site refrigerator and microwave, or visit one of the mall restaurants. Those with food sensitivities or dietary restrictions are encouraged to plan accordingly. ‼️ Timing Notice: Our workshops are interactive.
