WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Take your backyard game nights to the next level by building your own custom set of regulation-style cornhole boards. In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn practical woodworking skills while constructing a durable, portable cornhole set that you'll be proud to use for years to come.
From measuring and cutting lumber to assembling, sanding, and finishing your project, you'll gain real-world experience using common woodworking tools and techniques. These are the same foundational skills used in countless DIY projects around the home.
Whether you're new to woodworking or simply looking for a fun project-based learning experience, this workshop offers the opportunity to build something useful, learn valuable skills, and leave with a finished project ready for your next cookout, tailgate, or family gathering. Based on the project plans, participants will construct a regulation-style cornhole set featuring folding legs, carrying handles, custom finishes, and durable construction.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Breaks & Meals:
Participants are welcome to take breaks as needed; however, workshop instruction will continue during unscheduled breaks. Full-day workshops include a 30-minute meal break. Complimentary beverages and individually packaged snacks are provided. Participants may bring a lunch, use the on-site refrigerator and microwave, or visit one of the mall restaurants. Those with food sensitivities or dietary restrictions are encouraged to plan accordingly.
Timing Notice:
Our workshops are interactive. Occasionally, classes may run slightly past the scheduled end time to ensure students feel confident with the material. Please allow for some flexibility in your schedule.

Your safety is always our priority. We provide all necessary PPE based on the type of work being performed, including items such as N95 masks, gloves, eye and ear protection, and protective aprons. Our instructors will guide you on proper safety practices throughout the class.

Participants work with real tools and materials used in the trades, providing hands-on experience that reflects real-world conditions. All tools and materials required for the workshop are included for use during the workshop.

FIRST AID &
SAFETY PREPAREDNESS
While safety is emphasized in every workshop, we are fully prepared should an accident occur. Our facility is equipped with first aid kits, two emergency eye wash stations, and an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

SNACKS &
BEVERAGES
Hands-on work can build up an appetite, so we offer a small refreshment station with complimentary soda, water, coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and individually packaged snacks.
