A properly built shower depends on the waterproofing system installed behind the tile to manage moisture, protect the surrounding structure, and help prevent mold, mildew, and water-related damage. This free, demonstration-only workshop offers a firsthand look at how the Schluter®-Shower System creates a complete, watertight assembly before tile installation begins. You’ll see how Schluter®-KERDI membrane, waterproofing bands, corners, pipe and mixing valve seals, drains, and other system components work together to protect the areas most vulnerable to moisture. Throughout the demonstration will explain the purpose behind each component, proper waterproofing techniques, and common areas where shower installations can fail when moisture protection is incomplete or improperly installed.
